By downloading, installing, or using MyTapTour ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. MyTapTour is a service of Next Dimension LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company doing business as ("d/b/a") MyTapTour. References in these Terms to "MyTapTour", "we", "our", or "us" mean Next Dimension LLC operating under that trade name.
MyTapTour is a mobile application that enables users to participate in NFC-based scavenger hunts and tours. Users scan physical NFC tags at various locations to earn rewards, track progress, and complete tour stages. Tour creators can build and manage tours through the MyTapTour creator portal.
You may browse the MyTapTour catalog, open tour detail pages, read public reviews, and reach the About / Privacy / Terms screens without registering or signing in. Use of the app in this browsing mode is subject to these Terms of Service whether or not you have an account.
To use any feature that produces or depends on per-user state — including purchasing a tour, starting or completing a tour, scanning NFC tags, completing visual location verification, redeeming rewards, posting a review, participating in leaderboards, or managing your blocked-users list — you must create an account using email/password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple. You may delete your account at any time from the app's Settings page.
Some tours require a one-time purchase. Prices are displayed before you buy. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree to pay the listed price.
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe a purchase was made in error or the tour was not as described, contact us at hello@mytaptour.com within 48 hours of purchase.
Tour access is tied to your account and is non-transferable. You may not resell, share, or redistribute access to paid tours.

Rewards (coupons, points, clues, merchandise, and similar items) are offered by tour creators, either directly or through arrangements with partner vendors (for example, a local business that has agreed to honor a coupon). The party fulfilling a given reward—whether the tour creator or a partner vendor—is the one responsible for honoring it at redemption. Reward availability, terms, and redemption conditions are set by the tour creator and, where applicable, agreed with the participating vendor. MyTapTour is not responsible for:

MyTapTour lets you capture photos at tour stops and store them in a private gallery tied to your account. By uploading a photo through the app, you represent and warrant that:
You retain ownership of your photos. By uploading, you grant MyTapTour a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, transmit, and display the photo back to you within your private gallery. We do not display your photos to other users, to tour creators, or to the public.
You may delete any photo at any time from your gallery. On account deletion we remove every photo you have uploaded. Due to CDN propagation, copies may persist in caches for a short period after deletion. MyTapTour reserves the right to remove content that we believe violates these terms or applicable law.
The MyTapTour app, its design, code, and branding are owned by Next Dimension LLC. Tour content (descriptions, images, rewards) is owned by respective tour creators. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without permission.
MyTapTour respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you believe content on MyTapTour infringes a copyright you own or represent, file a notice through our designated agent at mytaptour.com/dmca. Notices may also be served by mail on:

Repeat-infringer policy. We maintain a record of valid DMCA notices acted upon against each account. Accounts that accumulate three (3) or more DMCA strikes within their lifetime will be locked and their content removed from the platform, in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i)(1)(A). Strikes are reversed when a counter-notice is filed and the take-down is restored under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), or at MyTapTour's discretion in cases of clear false-positive notices.
The app uses your device's location to display nearby tours and calculate distances. Location access is optional but some features may be limited without it. You can revoke location access at any time through your device settings.
Some tour stops can be confirmed using the device's back camera and Apple's ARKit framework instead of (or in addition to) an NFC tag scan. When you tap "Verify Location" the app activates the camera and runs an ARKit session that uses Apple's Visual Positioning System (VPS) to recognize the saved location at street-level. During an active verify session:
Safety while using the camera. Visual verification requires you to look at your phone screen and move the camera around the saved location. Be aware of your surroundings, do not use the feature while crossing streets, driving, or in any situation that requires your full attention, and never trespass on private property to complete a verification.
Signed-in users may post 1–5 star ratings and short text reviews on tours they have purchased. Reviews are moderated as follows:
By posting a review, you grant MyTapTour a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, and redistribute the review through the MyTapTour platform for as long as the review remains published. You retain ownership of your review text and may delete your own review at any time from the app's "Edit Review" entry.
Some tags or locations in MyTapTour show "hours" — windows when the tour creator believes the tag is reachable. These hours are informational only. They are entered by the creator and may not reflect the current state of the venue, the surrounding property, or any host business. Hours can change for any reason without notice (holidays, weather, private events, permanent closures). MyTapTour does not guarantee that a tag will be reachable during the displayed hours.
You agree to independently verify the operating hours of any business, attraction, or property before traveling, and to comply with all access rules, posted signage, and the instructions of property owners and staff. MyTapTour and the tour creator are not responsible for travel time, transportation costs, or any inconvenience arising from incorrect or out-of-date hours.
Creator-side responsibilities for publishing accurate hours are governed by the separate Creator Terms accepted in the creator portal.
MyTapTour is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Next Dimension LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury while participating in tours.
When participating in tours, you are responsible for your own safety. Always be aware of your surroundings, follow local traffic and safety laws, and do not trespass on private property to reach tag locations. MyTapTour is not responsible for injuries or incidents that occur while using the app.
We may suspend or terminate your access to MyTapTour at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
Without limiting the foregoing, accounts that accumulate three or more valid DMCA strikes will be terminated under our repeat-infringer policy (see §9), and accounts that repeatedly post reviews removed for violating §12 may also be suspended or terminated.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
